Program Overview

The Princeton ISD Green Cord Community Service Program recognizes students who demonstrate a commitment to serving others through meaningful volunteer work within their school and community.

The program is designed to encourage students to develop a lifelong habit of service while building leadership skills, civic responsibility, and community involvement.

Students may begin earning hours on June 1 prior to their freshman year and continue accumulating hours through their senior year.

Students who complete the required service hours will receive recognition based upon their grade level participation and may ultimately earn the prestigious Green Cord to wear at graduation.
