Mr. Christopher Jones (Alpha: A-C)
Hey! I’m Christopher Jones, one of the newest counselors at Princeton Senior High School. With more than 15 years of experience in education, I have served students in a variety of educational settings, including Special Education and now a school counselor.
I’m known for my calm, patient, and resilient approach, and committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel heard, valued, and empowered to succeed. I’m a fast learner who brings adaptability, compassion, and a student-centered mindset to
Princeton SHS.
As an East Texas A&M University Alumni, I earned two Master’s degrees in School Counseling + LPC and Educational Technology and a Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences; as well as an Associate’s degree in Teaching from Collin College. My diverse educational background allows me to blend counseling, education, technology, and relationship-building to support the academic, social, emotional, and personal development for my students.

Ms. Lori Quick (Alpha: D-Lh)
This is my first year at Princeton High School, and I am excited to be part of the Princeton ISD family. I have been working in education for 27 years, including serving as a school counselor in Rockwall ISD and Leander ISD. I earned my undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and my master’s degree in counseling from Texas State University.
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I have one daughter who is currently in college. Outside of school, I love spending time with animals and am a proud pet parent to three dogs, five cats, and a fish!
Dr. Savannah Rubio (Alpha: Li-Ra)
Hi! I’m Dr. Savannah Rubio, one of the counselors at Princeton Senior High School. Before becoming a counselor, I graduated with my undergrad from Texas A&M University "WHOOP" in Agricultural Sciences which led to me spending a wonderful seven years teaching Agricultural Science in Plano ISD and being an advisor to the Plano Sr. FFA. This was then followed by three years as a school counselor in other districts before joining Princeton ISD in 2022 where I have loved being part of the Panther family!
A little more about my educational background: I earned my Master’s in School Counseling from Amberton University and a second Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas. I recently completed my Educational Doctorate, where my research focused on effective methods for increasing teachers’ mental health literacy. This topic is especially meaningful to me because supporting mental health is one of my passions. That passion also led me to become the advisor for the PSHS Active Minds Chapter, where I have the opportunity to help students become advocates and supports for their peers while promoting a school environment that focuses on the whole student.
Outside of school, I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for over 10 years; we met in college when we were 18! We are also proud cat parents to four cats, as I have always had a love for animals. I’m grateful to work in a career where I can support students, build relationships, and help our Panthers feel confident and prepared for whatever comes next!
Mrs. Raquel Pastrana (Alpha: Rb-Z)
Hello! I’m Raquel Pastrana, and I’m honored to serve as a school counselor at Princeton Senior High School. My goal is to support students throughout their high school journey and help them feel confident as they work toward their academic, college, career, and future goals.
I believe every student can succeed, and I’m here to help them navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and take the steps needed to reach their goals. Whether you need assistance with your schedule, graduation requirements, college and career planning, or simply need someone to listen, I’m here to help!
A little about me, I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and have been living in the United States for the past 23 years. I have 23 years of experience in education in both Puerto Rico and the United States, and this is my seventh year as a school counselor, a profession I truly love and am passionate about.
Outside of school, I am married to an amazing man, and I’m a proud mom of three wonderful sons and a grandmother to four sweet grandchildren. My family is a very important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them whenever I can.
