Graduation Programs and Plans

Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT)

We are proud to partner with Children's Health to provide a convenient option for expert behavioral health care. With parent or guardian permission, students may participate in virtual sessions with a licensed behavioral health provider on a mobile device through the state-funded TCHATT program. Parents or guardians can join the virtual session. For more information, visit childrens.com/tchatt.

How to use TCHATT?
  1. Share your concern with your school counselor
  2. The school counselor will obtain verbal consent from the parent or guardian to make a referral to TCHATT. If consent is provided, the counselor will collect basic information to share with TCHATT.
  3. The school counselor then submits the referral via the TCHATT portal.
  4. A TCHATT staff member will contact the parent or guardian to review the information in the referral and determine the next steps for treatment and services.
    • All parents and guardians, along with the student, will participate in a virtual onboarding meeting with a TCHATT staff member.

Parents or guardians, or students who are interested in receiving services, should contact their school counselor to learn more and request a referral.
